¿What is NSF/ANSI Standard 61?
NSF/ANSI Standard 61 (NSF-61) is a set of national standards that relates to water treatment and establishes stringent requirements for the control of equipment that comes in contact with either potable water or products that support the production of potable water. The tests vary from a basic cold-water test using water at different pH levels, all the way to the more challenging and strict chemical certification.
In all cases the equipment is tested before and after exposure to a given fluid to determine whether anything has been leached out or extracted from the equipment. NSF-61 was developed by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF), a global independent public health and environmental organization, and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), which oversees the consensus for developing standards for
the manufacturing and procedures in the United States.
¿What is NSF/ANSI Standard 372?
NSF/ANSI 372: Drinking Water System Components – Lead Content is an American National Standard that establishes a standardized methodology used in the determination and the verification of the product compliance to minimize lead contaminants. NSF/ANSI 372 is consistent with the United States Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) and its lead-free plumbing requirements, as well as the requirements of individual U.S. states such as California. NSF/ANSI 372 serves as a basis to establish conformance with these regulations.
CERTIFICATION #2
Watts A9231-AL Granular Activated Carbon (GAC)- CERTIFIED BY NSF TO NSF/ANSI42.
The Watts A9231-AL Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) BY WATTS, offers superior level of hardness, high activity level, trihalomethane removal and longer life expectancy.
The A9231-AL also features coconut shell filter media that adsorbs contaminates such as chlorine, organic chemicals, fertilizers, TCE, EDB, THM, sediment, chemical odor, pesticides, detergents, and chloramines.
¿What is NSF/ANSI Standard 42?
NSF/ANSI 42-2019: Drinking Water Treatment Units – Aesthetic Effects not only reduce substances affecting the aesthetic quality of water (impurities such as chlorine and taste/odor), but can also add chemicals for scale control or limit microbial growth in the system. The treatment systems addressed by NSF/ANSI 42-2019, which can be either point-of-use (under-the-sink, water pitcher) or point-of-entry (whole house), are designed to reduce specific substances that may be present in public or private drinking water considered to be microbiologically safe and of known quality.
CERTIFICATION #3
VORTECHTM TANKS C9092-B-VT-G- ARE CERTIFIED 100% MADE IN THE USA./ TRADEMARK REGISTERED.
features
Enpress tanks utilizes an industry exclusive co-polymer Polypropylene formulation for its liner assembly, which provides superior performance in both hot and cold temperature environments. It also provides improved chemical and impact resistance far superior than traditional polyethylene.
All this allow the tanks to survive extreme harsh climate and provides the highest quality product.
CERTIFICATION #4
VALVE 68104830-CERTIFIED BY OUR SUPPLIER TO NSF/ANSI44 – NSF/ANSI61 AND NSF/ANSI372.
¿What is NSF/ANSI Standard 44?
Notice that the definition is not related to resin tank size, amount of cation exchangeresin, or system salt settings, but is based solely on the inlet size of the control valve.
Also note that any physical or magnetic water conditioning systems are outside the scope of NSF/ANSI 44, because the standard is limited to cation exchange systems.
